JULIE SPARKES

Founder, Speech-Language Pathologist, Certified Auditory-Verbal Therapist

Julie received her Master’s Degree in Speech-Language Pathology from McGill University in Montreal, Canada. She is also a Certified Auditory-Verbal Therapist (LSLS Cert. AVT®) through the AG Bell Academy for Listening and Spoken Language. Julie is a Registered member of the College of Audiologists and Speech Language Pathologists of Ontario (CASLPO), as well as a member of Speech-Language & Audiology Canada (SAC).

Julie is passionate about teaching listening and language skills from birth to give children the best foundation to connect and communicate with the world around them. She also believes that strong communication and language skills are key to a child’s academic and social success. Julie is the mother of three boys who provide her with the motivation and inspiration to continue to help children communicate to their greatest potential.

MELISSA PECILE

Intake Coordinator

Melissa has worked with children and families for over 10 years, observing, learning, and supporting the fundamental stages of a child's development. She has a passion for connecting with people.  Melissa exudes a positive energy that helps families feel comfortable, and children feel confident. 

Melissa is excited to get to know your child's story and become a part of their speech, language, and communication journey. She looks forward to assisting your family in beginning the process of helping your child become everything they can be.

JAGRITI SHARMA

Speech-Language Pathologist

Jagriti received her Master’s Degree in Speech-Language Pathology from Western University in London, Ontario. Jagriti is a Registered member of the College of Audiologists and Speech Language Pathologists of Ontario (CASLPO), as well as a member of Speech-Language & Audiology Canada (SAC). Jagriti has many years of experience working with preschool and school-age children. She is passionate about supporting children in language development, fluency (stuttering), and speech sound disorders. Her therapy sessions create the perfect balance between accomplishing goals and play experiences that your child will look forward to. Jagriti has received advanced training in using Hanen’s “It Takes Two to Talk” Program as well as Prompts for Restructuring Oral Muscular Phonetic Targets (PROMPT). She is committed to building a trusted relationship with your child while working collaboratively with caregivers and parents to target meaningful communication goals.
